Service update - Tuesday 29 July
Our crews have completed the vast majority of bin collections due today.
Unfortunately, they were unable to collect the following:
- Refuse from Church Street, Alresford and Spain Lane, Burkham, due to road closures
- Glass from Mill Lane, Petersfield (one of our hard-to-reach roads) due to a road closure
Crews will return tomorrow to collect from these roads. Please leave your bin out to avoid being missed.
Crews were again unable to collect glass from Florence Way and Burnham Road, Alton, which could not be accessed yesterday or today due to parked cars. Crews will return on the next scheduled collection day and can take any excess glass in a suitable sturdy plastic container with handles.
If your bin wasn't collected
If your bin was not collected today and your area isn't included in the service update, please leave it out and report it as missed using your MyEHDC account.
If our provider is behind by the end of the week, they may work on Saturday to catch-up. If your collection was due on Friday and your area is not in the service update above, please report your bin as missed.
Reports must be made before 4pm on the next working day after your collection was due.
If you do not report a missed collection to us within this timeframe, you will have to wait until your next scheduled collection.

Please note, if your bin has been tagged for reasons such as being too heavy or contaminated we will not return until your next scheduled collection. Also, if your bin is not placed on the boundary of your property, or was not out at the correct time (by 6am), it will not be collected and we will not return.
