The easiest way is to pay monthly by direct debit.

You can choose to set up the payment for the 1st, 7th, 15th, 24th or 28th of each month or pay over 12 months rather than 10.
Instalments are normally calculated over 10 months from April to January in each financial year. You can opt to pay over 12 months, from April to March, instead.
The number of months available depends on when in the tax year you are requesting a change.

You can pay your council tax online with your debit card (you can't use any other type of card).
Telephone
You can call dial-and-pay 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Please call 0300 303 0590 and follow the guidance. You will need your reference number (this is the council tax account number beginning with '710' which you can find on your bill) and your debit card (this option is debit card only).
Internet banking
You can set up a regular standing order or make one off payments through your bank. Please make sure that you quote the correct reference number (this is the council tax account number beginning with '710' which you can find on your bill).
