The Licensing Act 2003 requires that licensing authorities review their statement of licensing policy every five years. The statement of licensing policy details the position or view that the licensing authority will take on particular matters in connection with the discharge of its licensing functions.
East Hampshire District Council is currently reviewing its statement of licensing policy and the draft statement was approved for consultation by the licensing committee at the meeting on 9 October 2024.
We are now consulting on the proposed draft statement of licensing policy and inviting statutory consultees and other interested parties and stakeholders to provide feedback. Feedback must be received before the six-week consultation period closes at midnight on Thursday 21 November 2024.
