From 9am on Wednesday 13 September, community groups, volunteer organisations and charities in East Hampshire will be able to apply for up to £10,000 from our Community Climate Action Fund (CCAF).
A total of £50,000 will be available in this round of grants. £250,000 has been allocated to the fund over two years and the scheme is a demonstration of our commitment to provide community leadership to deliver carbon reductions across the district.
Councillor Robert Mocatta, portfolio holder for Regeneration and Prosperity (which includes climate and environment) at East Hampshire District Council, said:
“The CCAF is a significant part of our support for community action on climate change.
“If you have an idea for a project - or need support for a project that is already underway - that will help the district’s progress towards a low-carbon future, we want to hear from you.”
Applications to the CCAF will close at noon on Monday 30 October 2023.
