Local community groups have until 21 April to get involved in this year’s Charity Walk for Peace and receive valuable funding for their work.
Local organisations around East Hampshire, but especially those local to Whitehill & Bordon, are invited to sign up for the Charity Walk for Peace, an annual event that raises money for local good causes.
The walk is run in partnership between EHDC, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association and the Whitehill and Bordon Community Trust. The 5km course starts and finishes in Hogmoor Inclosure.
The event is a fun family-friendly occasion run with a view to supporting local good causes and fostering strong communities.
Last year 16 charities were chosen to be beneficiaries and each took a share of £20,000 raised on the day.
Could your charity get that financial boost this year?
The deadline to apply has been pushed back to Friday 21 April. Community groups can ask for an application form from EHDC officer Lisa Clements at lisa.clements@easthants.gov.uk.
