Make sure your details on the electoral register are up to date
We will be asking residents to make sure their information on the electoral register is up to date over the next month.
Keep an eye out for posted forms and - for the first time - emails that will be asking you to check your details.
The canvass is part of a national, annual campaign to keep the electoral register accurate.
Check your details on the Electoral Register
If you don't respond your details may be removed - and that would mean you'd lose your right to vote.
We will be emailing most of our forms with around 29,000 emails going out on 9 October. The rest will be posted via Royal Mail around the same time.
The canvass will run until the end November.
If you have any issues with either contact you can contact the Elections Team at East Hampshire District Council at electoral.services@easthants.gov.uk.
What do you need to do?
You should tell us about:
- Any new residents not listed (all eligible residents over 16 years of age)
- If anyone listed has moved out
- If any other details have changed
In some cases, you may only need to respond if there are changes to report. It will tell you on the form what you need to do.
The easiest way to respond is online through the link below. You will need the security codes printed in the letter on on your email.
