East Hampshire District Council has upgraded the public access page on its planning system. This page allows residents and consultees to search planning applications and leave comments.

- EHDC planning portal user guide (pdf 1.2 mb)
The new system is currently going through a period of transition, once it is fully established, it will be easier for the public and more streamlined for staff.
In the meantime, you may find the following information useful when using the site.
- Re-registering – you will need to set up a new account on the new system. Your old account cannot be transferred across.
- Time delay – if you receive a notification of an application please allow two hours for all the documents to go live. There is some manual work to make some documents ready for public viewing. If some documents are not showing, please check back in a couple of hours.
- Older applications – applications that were live at the time of the upgrade may not have carried all the public comments across to the new system. Those comments can still be seen on the original system and will, in any case, be taken into account by the planning officer when assessing each planning application. This issue will phase out as these older applications are resolved.
- Weekly lists – the weekly lists of planning applications are no longer sent out by email. Instead, live and updated lists can be accessed through the new system at any time. You can search applications to the South Downs National Park here.
- User-guide – A user guide helping residents navigate around the site will be available soon.
