Ukraine update for hosts and guests

Welcome to the August bulletin and Slava Ukraini!

Welcome to the August edition of our update for Ukrainian guests and their hosts.

With Ukrainian Independence Day on Saturday 24 August, this is a day to celebrate the defiance of the people of Ukraine and the way of life they are fighting to defend.

This may be a difficult time for your guests and we've pulled together a range of sources of mental health support on our website which they may want to look at.

E-Visa guide

UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) are developing a digital immigration system. This means they are replacing physical documents with an online record of your immigration status. This is known as an eVisa.

An eVisa is an online record of your immigration status and the conditions of your permission to enter or stay in the UK. You will need to create a UKVI account to access your eVisa. Creating a UKVI account is free and straightforward.

For more information and for a Ukrainian translation, please visit the Lancashire County Council website.
