It is important to try to work towards being physically active for at least 30 minutes a day, five times a week. This can include active lifestyle changes such as, walking the dog, gardening and using the gym.
Coaches, officials and volunteers are crucial for sport at all levels. They are the people who motivate, encourage, inspire and work behind the scenes to make sport happen.
Our aim is to make walking and cycling the natural choices for shorter journeys or as part of longer journeys. Consultation on the LCWIP is now open and closes on 17 November.
