Litter and dog fouling

We are responsible for removing litter on all public highways in the district, as well as Council own land and public car parks.

Fixed penalty notice (FPN)

A fixed penalty notice (FPN) is a fine issued by the council in respect of low-level environmental or public health crime.

Graffiti

Graffiti is a criminal offence punishable with possible imprisonment and fines that reflect the real cost of the damage caused and can run into thousands of pounds.

Main road litter picking

Litter picking on busy and fast main roads is an important task, but it can also be dangerous. More information here on keeping safe.
