The infrastructure delivery plan considers existing infrastructure, and what additional infrastructure is needed to support proposed development, its cost, and how and when it will be delivered.

As a first step, a baseline of existing infrastructure across the district (outside the South Downs National Park) has been established.

The baseline information is presented in the form of an interactive map.

Please note:

  • the interactive map includes infrastructure under the following headings: transport, education, leisure and community, utilities and health
  • information regarding a particular feature can be accessed by double clicking on the feature
  • the information presented is accurate as of February 2022
  • the baseline has been informed by liaison with parish and town councils

An emerging infrastructure plan has been prepared to support the draft local plan consultation 2024.
